The “Best” line of Downblast (DB) and Upblast (TXB & TXB-RHUL) roof mounted centrifugal exhaust fans just got better with the new HWL Construction Option. These fans are now certified to meet the specifications of the Florida Building Codes (High Wind Load & Hurricane Zone Criteria) TAS 201, 202 & 203.

Florida Building Code TAS203-94, Criteria for Testing Products Subject to Cyclic Wind Pressure Loading, has changed!
At this time (September 2009) we can confirm that the DB, TXB and TXB-RHUL- Restaurant Exhaust fans are currently the ONLY fans certified by Miami Dade County that meet the latest July 2009 TAS-203-94 Florida Building Code standards for Testing Products to Cyclic Wind Pressure Loading.
